We use berberine hydrochloride, the salt form used in most of that research, standardized so every capsule delivers a consistent amount. Berberine absorbs poorly on its own, so the formula pairs it with olive oil and L-leucine.
Two capsules daily, taken with food. Your provider may suggest splitting the dose across meals. If you take any medication that affects blood sugar, talk with your provider before starting berberine.
